OUR THERAPISTS One Stop PT assigns a dedicated therapist who will get to know you, your limitations and your goals. The same therapist will see you at every appointment so will be familiar with where you're at in your course of treatment.
Your therapist will evaluate your condition and assess your needs during the initial visit and then create a customized treatment plan to help you achieve your wellness goals.
TECHNIQUES Our therapists are trained in a variety of therapeutic techniques including soft-tissue mobilizations, neuromuscular re-education and hands-on massage therapy. We will bring therapy aids for you to work with such as bands and foam rollers when needed. We also incorporate music and sometimes dance into our therapy depending on each patient's ability.
WELLNESS Our primary goal is your good health, so we incorporate a wellness plan into each course of treatment. As you begin to see improvement and feel better, we'll educate you on best practices to maintain your health and show you how to stay active. We'll show you how to avoid injury and teach you techniques to stay mobile and feeling good.
HOME SAFETY If you are fearful of falling or concerned about your ability to move around your home in a safe way, we can evaluate your living space and provide suggestions for any safety equipment that would be helpful for you. Items like grab bars, walkers, elevated toilet seats and shower chairs help keep you safe as well as give you more freedom and independence. If equipment is needed, we can also help you locate and order affordable options and then coordinate assembly and installation if needed.
